Operation Claymore - 4 Mar 1941

A combined British Commando, Norwegian and Royal Engineers force raid the Lofoten Islands in Norway. They successfully destroy fish oil factories and some 3,600 tonnes of oil and glycerine, 18,000 tons of shipping are also sunk.
