Lincoln Assassinated - 14 Apr 1865

At approximately 10:15 pm, John Wilkes Booth entered the presidential box and shot Lincoln in the back of the head. He then fought and stabbed Henry Rathbone, leapt to the stage (breaking his left ankle), yelled, "Sic semper tyrannis!" and fled.
