Berryville - 3 Sep 1864

Union Gen Sheridan marched to Berryville with his 43,000 man Army of the Shenandoah. At 5:00pm Confederate Maj Gen Joseph B Kershaw's division attacked and routed Colonel Thoburn's left flank before they were rescued by reinforcements from VIII Corps.
